I know there's been alot of bashing about members and members post and board content lately, but just want to state what a great place this board is and what a great job Cache and Cap't along with the mods do here on a daily basis.
What brings me to this post is that I'm searching for xmas ideas for a family member who has a VTX1800. So last night I join vtxoa.com and post a question in regards to a bike cover. I was thinking about finding a cover with a logo embossed VTX or something on it as he just has the bike stored in the garage with a 2 sheets over it. I've browsed and not really seen anything VTX specific, just your random covers in L/XL whatever. I was hoping somebody would suggest a manufacturer, or post something like " I use this cover and it fits great".
Well, 24 hours later and not one reply, not a single welcome to the board, not a single nothing. After being a member here for a considerable period of time, the fact that somebody is ignored is beyond me. The long standing members and even some new ones have always been gratious with welcomes and interductions and passing along info, even when in some cases it wasn't needed/wanted.
So in short, I just want to thank everybody here for being human beings, being friendly, being real, being family. Guess maybe I should of taken my request to a Busa brethren like Revlis who works in parts/sales for information!
