Hey gang-
Took the tail off (the red arrow point to an apparently easy to break pisser of a tab) and saw rust in a few spots. In a few more I could see what I believe to be the e-coat.
Took the Dremel wire wheel to the areas marked and painted them.
Just an FYI in case you get the tail off.
