I'm going to purchase a Puig hugger and wondering what you all think would look best.. Carbon look or no carbon look?

Mmmmmm decisions, decisions....

Heres a pic of the Scoot, I'm thinkin no carbon look and painting to match the dark grey..

Thanks

i agree that matching the dark grey would be the best option

it would continue the lines of the paint job

Also Bought one of them Brazilian under tails from a board member that will be color matched to the Burgundy..

If the Puig was real Caron i might go that route for sure but I'm very hesitant of how the cabon look will look..

I say go with real carbon, and if you wanted to paint the carbon to match you still will have the weight savings!

puig doesnt have a real carbon hugger

Thats right..

Are you just getting the hugger or is there a built-in chainguard? Can you post a pic of the left side of your bike.

Get a purple one. Then people would see it and go "what is that?!".

But I'd go with a gray one, personally.

Match the dark gray.

The PUIG carbon look does look decent, but I don't think it fits the look of your bike. The gray would look clean on it.

(BigBSBusa @ Apr. 02 2007,22:17) Grey it is.
Did you have any issues with installing your undertail on Midnight? Bought the same one from a board member..

hey dr,take it from me the puig is a nice fit and made well.because of the colors of your bike carbon look or black will look kinda wierd.

I have the Puig fake c/f hugger, and I like it. But in your case, paint it to match the grey, I think that would look great. The only gripe I have about the hugger is that it got a little scratched up when I lowered the rear end, and now its raised an inch over stock and you can see the scratches. Just thought I'd throw that out there.... but the install was simple and its a quality product.

Thanks guys for all the replies, I will be buying the black one and painting it to match the dark grey..
