pulling the rear wheel

I know this info is on this board some where but can someone please help me find the link on how to remove the rear wheel from a gen 2 busa...any tips would help too. Im pretty mechanically inclined but would hate to break something by not asking questions. Got the bike up on my stands just scared to start ripping it apart.

Thanks in advance

Should stay in the wheel unless you need to change them out. Just be careful to remove your spacers on the wheel. There is only one for the front, cannot remember how many there were on the back, but I think it was 1 as well.

Some tips, I put the rear caliper in a sock once it is loose, so it can't scratch anything and I tape a section of the rear rim with painters tape, so the caliper retaining plate does not scratch the rim during removal and re-install.

+ 1 Tape up that rear wheel or you WILL scratch it !!

Yeah...I scratched mine the first time and do the same now...also its easier if you have someone hold it while pulling wheel...or installing.

Good deal....I plan on pulling them tonight if time allows. I will make sure to have socks and painters tape. Thanks again for all of the ideas.:bowdown::bowdown:
