Putting a intake cam

Depends on the bike and where you degree the cams in at.

I'd say 5hp +/- a few.

I don't see why your bike would run any hotter, well hot enough for you to notice a change.

I saw a place that sells stock factory intake cams for like 200 or so dollas. A set of after market can cost 1000 dollas.

Buy a Web 378 for intake and then throw your old intake on exhaust with some Carpenter 60# springs. Works great - tons of people have done it for years with no probs. That's what I'm running in my 1397.

Here is where you get it;     New Cam    This is a brand new intake with the adjustable cam sprocket installed to run as an exhaust. There is also a single cam sprocket offered on that page to put on your intake cam.

Does it push all the power up top? I want to keep my current power curve. I dont like mods that move the power band around a little to produce more engine rpm power.
