Putting my bike back together after almost 3 years

Hello everyone! I purchased my 'busa new in '04 and shortly after became a member here. I laid her down shortly afterwards and had to take all the fairings off to do some repairs. Due to my financial situation, I never got around to it but I could never bring myself to sell the bike. Now my situation is a little better and I've started the rebuild...

My question is, I've plugged in all the obvious wires up front for the headlamp, turn signals, etc... but I have one plug left that I can't seem to find a place for. It's a small 2 prong plug that branches off the wiring harness right before the left turn signal. Anyone know where this hooks up? It's been so long since I took it apart, I've forgotten where a few things go.

Sounds like the extra connector for the overseas models.

Just a thought..

+1 I sounds like the connection to the position light required on ALL Euro bikes, but is not used here in the states

the second picture looks like item 13 in the diagram to me. The bracket part.

What color are the wires in the first picture? Did you remove the levers and master cylnders also?

Man, three years? I thought my 1.5 years was too long! I'm getting closer to finishing mine............ that's what I keep saying, anyway.

Ditto on the brown/black. It's the daylight connector (little light in the headlight on euro version).

The wiring harness bolts onto the left ram air tube.

Awesome, thanks guys! Glad I asked, I would've gone nuts looking for a place to plug that in...

If you're planning on needing power for something it's a good source.
