I just thought I would share a fight I tried picking yesterday. First of all here in Ohio the weather is FINALLY getting decent enough to get a back out again. I was out yesterday just rolling around enjoying the feeling of being back in the saddle again. I came to a stop light in the middle of a kinda urban area mind you and what do I see? A guy turning left from my left side in a totally hopped up new trans am. Soon as he hits the intersection I hear a screeching and look up and see smoke coming off the tires and the ass end of it kicking sideways and then he bolts of like a bat out of hades if I had to estimate it hitting about 110-120mph. I am still at the red light behind like 4 cars and thinking PLEASE turn green I want a piece of this guy. I know he didn't see my Busa cuz of the truck I was behind. Well it turned green and both lanes are going like the EXACT same pace so I have no room to change lanes. Finally A couple in front of me got over and I had enough room to weave in and out to the front of the pack and I could BARELY see these guys by then but they were still on the horizen. I twisted it hard pulling about 140ish and caught up to them at the next light and pulled up right beside them. Now I have a tinted totally black visor on my helmet so they could not see my face but I had my eyes looking left at them watching what they were doing. The guy in the passenger seat looked over and tapped the driver on the shoulder and pointed to my bike. So I am thinking oh yeah lets do it. The light turns green and I look over barely even throttling the bike. When we get to about 30-40ish I drop the clutch and rev it like 3 or 4 times and pointed forward telling him to run it again. Then I popped a little second gear wheelie trying to egg them on. Neither one of them would even look over at this point. I waited about 10 seconds after all this trying to instigate them and finally gave up. I hit it hard and took off and they were out of sight in a flash. I just thought I'd show em what they refused to race. I normally do not do this but after these guys display in the middle of the intersection I just felt the urge to do it bad. Oh and not too mention they were doing that trying to get a DODGE RAM to race them!!!! For crying out loud a souped up Trans Am trying to race a RAM! Thats why I was picking the unfair bike vs. car fight. Well I felt better cuz the sweet satisfaction of putting them in their place was mine.
