ques about brake lines

how tight are the bolts supposed to be on the brake lines? what torque? im putting on steel braded lines and i dont want to ruin a bolt.

Wish I knew the spec bro. I tighten 'em by feel, but someone on here knows the spec, no doubt.

same here nolo... tighten it on feel!! Never really worried about the torque specs...

There is a compression washer under each of the fittings. Do not over tighten them. Just snug them up and keep an eye on them. If they weep, give them an additional tweak!

I wish I could remember the number, but I know it is very light. 14nm maybe? Either way i ahd to carnk more in to get em to stop leaking.

Go JUST tight enough to stop a leak. Much tighter and you could have a broken banjo on your hands.

The bango bolts need to be torqued to 23NM (16.5ft. lbs.) as per the service manual.
