Ludicrous Speed

I am getting closer every day to painting my project Busa. But the further I go, the more I find that I want to do!
I am going to paint the frame and swingarm to match the body color. What I have run into is the holes in the frame where the motor mount bolts are at. I am afraid that I will not be able to get even coverage and it will look like crap.
Initially I thought I would just have to use the black caps to cover them. Not the metal ones, but the plastic (?) ones that push into the hole.
Now my question: Can these perhaps be painted to match as well? I am not sure what material they are made of, as I have only seen pics of them........
