Question about set up

I have a set of M4 Retro Drag Slip On's and was thinking of adding a pipercross or BMC street air filter into the mix... My question is will I have to get my bike tuned afterwards or will I be safe with this set up?

You'll be safe with the setup. I'm thinking the stock air filter flows as well if not better, and slip - ons don't do a whole lot for ya in the performance department, plus the Gen II actually does a better job at keeping up with mild changes. IMO you'll be fine.

The BMC street allows less airflow than stock. Use the slipons and keep the factory filter in. The BMC race will give your bike a deeper breath but not reccommended for dusty areas. With the 02 sensor in the factory header, the bike will adjust slightly for you.

You're good to go but anytime you make any alteration to the intake or exhaust system there will be minute changes to the AFR. They may be noticeable in the seat and they may not but there are still changes. My bet is that it will feel more sluggish on the bottom and pull like hell on top. An indicator that you have leaned the mixture.
