Leave it on until it annoys you too much

Wikipedia explains it like this

In computing, phishing is a criminal activity using social engineering techniques. Phishers attempt to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy person or business in an electronic communication. Phishing is typically carried out using email or an instant message, although phone contact has been used as well[1]. Attempts to deal with the growing number of reported phishing incidents include legislation, user training, and technical measures.

But with a dial-up connection , it would probably take me 3 years to download !

(Poppy @ Dec. 01 2006,19:56) What are some of the benefits or advantages of Firefox?
No bugs that can bring down THE WHOLE BLOODY SYSTEM...
Not made by MS. (Big plus in my book)

That's all I run and it's so much better anyway, makes life so easy. Atomazz, try it you'll like it. I've got both on my machine, but haven't used IE in some time.

Who, me? I have it, actually. It has replaced IE entirely on my server, and is slowly winning out with each successive upgrade (stability was an issue when I started using it), on my Mac laptop over Safari.

Safari chokes on the post composition page of this site, with all the animated smilies, while Firefox doesn't. Safari hasn't seen an upgrade in ages so it's getting close to leaving my Mac for good.

Only complaint I have with Firefox is the Winblows version. For whatever reason it sucks down memory until closed. Almost as if it's storing it's cache in memory. I've seen it rise above 1GB of active memory use after a few weeks.
