was out enjoying the spring weather when felt my backside get a lil squirrelly.. looked at light back tire flat..called a friend and plugged it and pumpedit back up.. my question is should i just get a new tire or will the plug hold

Ive had em last just fine with a plug in em. That was when I was younger and not alot of extra cash, if you have the money get a new one. Just my .02

its right in thr center of the tire.. worried about it pilling out under heavy throttle

I would replace it as it sounds like you like to get on it every now and then.

Never chance it bro, your bike and YOU is not worth that little mistake that might make you $150 slimmer in your pockets. If it happened to ANY of my friends/ family/ORG member i honestly say get a new tire. Also doing that (getting the new tire) in the back of your head you will never have to worry about that plug. Just my .02

if you can afford a new tire, then get one. i have had to plug a few tires myself b/c i cant afford a new one when it seems i need one the most. ive never had a problem with a plugged tire--ever. i know you arnt supposed to ride on a plugged tire for any long period of time, but you do what you can with what you got. good luck bro

If cash is low, I would take the bike to the shop and have them plug it and put a patch on the inside. I have had to do this several times and have never had any problems.

the tire is like 1000 miles old so a lil disgusted.. i was thinking of haveing them patch it from the inside to Devil seems like it may be a lil safer than a plug.. Definately in my mind know when i go to get on it or lay in a turn..
I had a tire loose all its air once on my cbr 1000 going down the interstate at about 90mph and i tell u what its a SCARY feeling i could do without again!! thanks everyone for your feedback.
