I am a dyed in the wool sponsor supporter. I must advise everyone, however, that Harbor Freight now sells rear swingarm spools/sliders (polished silver only) in both 8mm and 10mm......for $5 bucks a pair! Just bought some as the lady was hanging them on display! That's all....Raydog

Good call man!!:beerchug: Thats $10-20 towards somthin' else, as fast as our bikes can swallow even a months worth of paychecks every penny counts:thumbsup: most swingarm spools either work or they dont. A little Mothers polish and their almost chrome & a scotchbite pad and their ready for paint:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's funny.. and a little scary at the same time. What'll it be next, no name pipes and programmable fuel mapping devices?

Just grabbed a set up the spools for my 2k8. Great price, seems to be the same quality as the ones the sell for 2 or 3 times as much at the bike stores..

This strand could evolve into another China products strand, BUT, as long as it's not a part that requires I trust it at 100 mph.....and it's 1/4 the cost of comparable parts, I guess I'm in. HOWEVER, it doesn't stop the guilt I experience re: the USA losing good manufacturing jobs to developing countries. I try to live by....USA first(whenever possible), Western Europe and Japan tied for second, and the rest of the world THIRD.

You'd probably gave a hard time finding spools that are made in the USA..
