2006... lowered & straped.... full exhaust pc3... 20shot dry nitrous.. I weigh in at 150pounds... With practice is 8 seconds going to be a problem? stock tires and gearing.. clutch springs ect will be done of course.. thx guys!

I’d bet against it. You would have to have quite a bit of experience. A stock arm tire and gears are going to make it harder. Check out this link. Dyno

Me and my bike weighs 765, I’m at 230. You should be around 685 or so. It is showing about 186 hp will be required. You are going to have traction problems. I’d say you are closer to 155-160 hp. 40 shot, a sticky tire and some major seat time, maybe….

I have a friend that drag races at Mason-Dixon and a few other places. He has lots of experience and loves to talk about racing. If you want, I can give you his number and you all can meet or talk on the phone.

thx for the post and showing me the estimator.... seems like a 8.99 could happen but i didn't say how deep in the 8's I was talking... I don't wanna give on doing hardcore straight line mods is why I was asking... love just riding and hitting the turns and am trying to keep my options open when this (super busa) hits the market

Thx bud but ill just wait.. ill be there next summer a good bit and I hope to ride with you and some others sometime... Been really busy lately didnt get a chance to respond to your msg from before so thx!! hopefully we'll ride sometime soon!!!

I cant make up my mind on setups so I wont be jumping into anything anytime soon.. Thx guys..
 
that dyno thing is off from everything ive ever done. dyno #'s are off and et is hella off, not sayin im getting everything i can outta the bike but its like a .23 off my best pass on the bike.
 
Which way superbusa? It is showing .15-.2 quicker than what I'm running. I figure it is me, but it still is in the ballpark.
 
its giving quicker times than what i run which is possible for sure but its also saying 6 more hp than what my bike has ever made. the busa has seen the dyno 34 times in its life and never pulled anything better than 160 rwhp
 
with the mods I mentioned above would gears and a shinko do the trick?

what sprocket setup would be jusssst enough???
 
shinko & a battlax hook pretty well the same just cost differance. i would drop 1 tooth on motor then test to see where your at when goin through the traps in gears and rpm compared to where u wanna be.
