quick stand

Richie, I have a Quickstand from Larry. Honestly it does what he claims, and it fits in the tailpiece with room to spare for a small can of chain lube.

It is a good functional product that lives up to it's claims (unlike some exhaust makers :)). The componants are all aircraft quality materials and has surpased extensive load testing.

I believe he offers a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

this is in the instructions, but a lot of people never read them till after......

MAKE SURE YOU TIE OFF THE FRONT BRAKE (velcro strap) OR CHOCK THE FRONT WHEEL(curb, rock)

Richie,
Quick Stand is very simple to use and is a very effective product. As Kawabuser mentioned, it's important to always use the velcro brake lock strap provided. The strap applies pressure to the front brake lever and keeps the bike from rolling.

It's also a good idea to read the instructions before you use it for the first time. Unlike centerstands or track stands the bike is NOT rolled forward or backward to elevate the vehicle. Instead, you rock the bike from side to side, alternately transferring the bike's weight between the side stand and Quick Stand. As you rock the bike you nudge the bottom end of Quick Stand towards the rear tire contact patch. The next thing you know, your rear tire is off the pavement.

Unlike the $700+ exhaust systems you should not have any problems with the product rusting out on you.

Also, keep your eye out in some of the major motorcyle publications. A number of samples have been sent out for review.

Larry
