R-22 Bling

I recently got the R-22 blings.  Didn't like the way they sound but love the way the look.  So I was riding around and came across another busa with blings. ( It's like spotting Elvis )  But when he pulled up next to me I could hear his exhaust and not mine.  I reved mine up and then he reved his up.  WTH I asked him if I could take a closer look at his exhaust so we pulled over.  He does not have a sleeve inserted like on mine.  Asked him if he removed it and he said no that's how they came.  How do I remove this sleeve or whats the best way too?  Does anyone know if I can just knock it loose or is it welded?

I have the Yoshi R-22 Blings and love them. Never heard of anyone removing a sleeve inside them. I like the way mine sound.
 
I just saw a guy with the same blings that I have except he didn't have a what appears to be a kind of short tube inserted like on mine and I liked the way his sounded so I will now attempt to remove it. Looks like it will be tricky. I should just leave well enough alone. But............
 
For those about to rock.............
Okay I decided on cutting the inserts out because I want them to sound louder. Its almost like stock but with a higher pitch pingy sound. So I took the cans off to take a closer look to see where I need to cut. I couldn't see anything that was welded to I decided I should just cut where the inserts were touching the pipe. Then I was thinking, saw an allen wrench bolt and thought why is this there, it isn't touching anything. So I took it out. It is actually screwed on to an outer part of the insert. Took pliers to it and guess what..........The inserts popped out. There was no mention of this in the manual and the guys at the dealership didn't know but they now come with these inserts for noise reduction. THEY SOUND MUCH MUCH BETTER NOW. I love the way it sounds. Deep Rumbling sound and nice up top. These are the best. Now the sound matches the looks of these cans. I would definitely recommend these for the Busa.

Glad to know they were smart enough to make the insert easy to remove. That way they can make the EPA happy when they sell and the customer happy when they remove the allen + inserts.

I looked mine over and didn't see any allen bolts. which end? Do i need to pull them all the way off?
