R1 throttle question!

does anyone have an R1throttle mod on their busa? how well does it work? i've been told about it a few times that it gives you better acceleration. im thinking about putting one on my 07 busa but i need to know the pros and cons about it first. any advice?

its a good mod to do. I have it on my 05 and love it. When you do it make sure you turn the wheel left and right to make sure its doesn't rev up on ya.

One may think that taking all the slack out of the cable is good, WRONG! Ya gotta have some slack or the RPMs will climb when you turn. Not good.

I've had it for a few years and would highly suggest it for quicker throttle action. It doesn't make you faster yet does make your throttle position change quicker. So in a sense it kinda does make you faster at reaching WOT. I did notice that when I tried to run extreme gearing, the R1 mod made the bike a little more twitchy in turns. I couldn't imagine what the R6 mod would feel like but for drag racing I can see it working very well.

These mods help you from having to have your hand wrapped around the throttle to be able to reach WOT from a launch.

You will have to adjust the throttle and return throttle cables. No big deal.

I think it will come to be what ever you prefer some say that an r6 tube is a little aggressive for street but good for track . Some have bought both and then decided.
