Race setup

Here is a questiion for you guys. I am thinking about taking my Busa to the Races in San Antonio (Quarter mile). I have not raced anything in many years. Not since my Honda 750 Super Sport back in 78 and 79. So what I am thinking about doing is trying to find a Wheelie Bar for the bike (of course) and a full set of Leathers for me. Now, should I try to get an extra back OEM rim/wheel and maybe a Shinko tire with the wheelie bar or just use the tire I have now. I have, by the way, new Michelin Pilot Power's. This is just a thought at this stage. But the reason for the wheelie bar setup is because I don't have the Skill or Cajona's to do a decent launch. I know I should learn like everyone else but I want to take the quick, lazy way out. So what do you guys think about this. I will need a rear wheel, so about how much will one cast. And a Shinko tire, about how much for this. And I think I can get a Wheelie bar from Schnitz for about $350.00 more or less. Plus various other things like lowering links and a front strap. And dont hammer me to hard, this is just a thought for the next few months.

Thanks,

David

No training wheels needed. Buy lowering links, a strap and a Shinko. An airshifter and bolt on extensions would help too.
Seriously, you can launch the bike fine with practice, and nothing, NOTHING, looks more stupid than a guy with training wheels running 10's.........
