Went t the AMA races here in SLC and seriously - sport bike racing is an amazing sport. I went for the first time last year and was blown away. Since that time, and a ZX6RR later - I finally got to take my boys out to see it to gauge reaction.
Let's just say - my boys are hooked and wanna get involved. We sat on a 125cc motogp style racer - talked to a way cool Dad proud of his 13 year old who raced today. He had my boys sit on the bike and told them all about it.
It's not easy to get my boys involved in sports like Football or basketball. They like what I like and I love the whole sportbike track thing.
So does anyone have their kids involved in it? If so, would you mind sharing the experience and where you started? I'm just trying to get a reality check on some things.
Thanks - and Wow - if you've never been to an AMA race, it's nothing like what you see on TV and everything - like you see on TV. (If that makes any sense.) In other words - its way, way, more exciting.
