radiator protection ?

Other than wrapping the the radiator front in metal window screen material whats out there? Im considering making a full louvered shield but I dont want to cause an overheating cond. Dirty roads in my area sound like  a shower of BBs at intersections. after spending and hour correcting fins I gotta do something.

Ive seen the stuff on ebay and Im less than impressed. They all have holes large enough to allow small small gravel bits to get in and get stuck between the rad and grille and viberate a hole in a cooling flute. I could make a better product from the metal supply store. I guess thats my option.

very gently with with a wittled down popcicle stick.

your best bet is to check out some of the accesory companies in the UK. They have fender extenders, rad covers and all sorts of things for ridding in nasty conditions. Also some of the streetfighter type companies also have alot of stuff.
