The story of my bike

Long story short, My boss ask me to ride my bike the day I brung it to work
after I got it all legal. Just went around the block and came back with a wide
ass grin on his face. He asked to take it to go workout and 4 hours later he came
back from painting the town red! haha he loved it. So much in fact he asked what was
wrong with the bike and I told him I was going to Austin to get rear pegs and stock exhaust
from some friends in 2 weeks and he said why wait 2 weeks. lets do it now.

So I chose the Dapincci exhaust and found some rear pegs and he bought them. badass.
His wife says he can do whatever he wants. just can't own a motorcycle! mind you he is
selling his current porsche for a 2008 911 turbo, and has an SRT 10 viper with rimes and
bodykit he is selling. His wife has the new supercharged XKR Jag, Range Rover etc. well
he i guess was doing some research on the bike and was talking
about getting a fat tire kit for it, and that you could get 300hp to the wheel on this bike.
Lol I replied yeah thats a stage 1 turbo kit, goes way up from there.

Well he said for me letting him ride it once or twice a week, which will be everyday
since he has ridden it everyday since ahahaha that he will pay for parts to be put on it.
I was like that is fine with me! Well the busa has gotten to him and sent over some ebay
links to a TL1000r, 2005 R1 and a 2006 ZX10, the TL1000 he said was his favorite of those
he found. He was thinking of getting one of those and putting it in my name to hide it from
his wife or fix my Busa up. Well get is fixing her up indeed. I told him I would source some
screw kits for him because the bike is pieced together with zip ties, many missing screws.

he bought custom candy red, chrome flame OEM plastics

getting the tranny fixed for 2nd gear/shift forks

If I stay stock rim size I will extend 4 inches
So I am pretty excited to see the bike change for the better! Never thought anything like this
would happen really.

You should really think about letting someone else putting money in/on your bike.  I've seen some horror stories over this.  One guy thought he owned this other guys car, after putting $1,500.00 in it, (a $30,000.00 car). They were using his car at the track, and was kind of a hobie for them.....at first, then it was I'm taking the car to the beach this weekend. Another time this guy wanted "his stuff", when they got in an arguement.

I just want to know if he is using his own cash or writing it off as a business expense. Then I want to know if he is accepting applications!

I'd be careful of the minefield you are walking across...

The first thing that comes to mind is that if he hurts himself on your bike, how are you going to explain it to his wife?

Then you could be out of a job too.
And just forget about it if he gets more than hurt.

LOL guys. i know what you mean above. but if he wants a bike, he can get one
but if he did he said it would sit in the garage after a month.
he said the bike will be mine ofcourse, just let him ride it. he would never ask
to ride it at night or on the weekend. just during the work week when he works out
or run.

yeah I did think about him riding the bike and getting hurt. would def suck!!! he
has a family and is a big family man. but you know we all take that risk when he
swing that leg over. sucks.

I can't tell you how many guys ask to ride mine. Unless they ride a Busa or another very powerful sport bike too, never.

Hey man you know what I would do and it might be a good idea atleast to Cover your but is to have some typr of legal contract with him drawn up that way there is no confusion at all. The only reason I say this is because if for some reason he turns around and says I dropped a ton of money on this bike and that would mean it is mine yo have a legal contract to fall back on. I know you said he could buy a bike of his own but as the Military always taught me CYA

wondering if your insurance would cover him incase of accident? and what that would do to your premium.honestly bro,the things he is purchasing arent worth the risk of him wrecking your bike.just my opinion.

could he buy a bike to use as a company vehicle for errands? He could keep it a work that way or let you ride it home. maybe buy you a company bike as part of your salary. The company keeps the ins on it and you are free of the legal hassle that way.
