Well unfortunatly the bike is put away for winter
.So far I`ve just done the air box mod,the ram air fix, removed the pair valve and tubing,16tooth sprocket,Friction performance brake pads, changed my brake and clutch fluid to Valvoline syntec brake fluid(502) dry boiling point,Two Brothers slip-ons,Mobil1 10-40 motorcycle oil and Perf-Form sythetic media oil filter,Red-line water wetter,Yosh box +5+5+5,NGK CR9EK plugs(dual electrode),BMC air filter,Pro grip gel grips,Gen-mar risers,Z-Gravity double bubble wind screen,Corbin seat, factory tank bra,Hyper white head lamp bulbs(these babies look white just like HID lighting)they really make the bike stand out,50w halogen tail/brake lights.I also run Avon Azaro 35/36 on the bike and they have about 4k miles on them now and look good for another2-3k,Regaurdless how these tires faired in the magazine tests they grip really well especially in the rain,I have them worn to the edge and the only thing I noticed was the rain groves roll off little chunks when you go to the edges of the tire.I am going to try the Metzeler Mez 3 next time around just because there getting such good reviews here.I would really like to do the Lee`s performance stage 1 or stage 2 mods and a full exhaust with some dyno/pcII time to dial it all in,he seems to be on top of this thing and I`m leary about doing any big bore work or adding a turbo ,not that I wouldn`t mind all that horsepower
but I`m just concerned about reliability and longevity ,my buddies and I do alot of long road trips.Next summer I`m going to take the MSF advanced course and would like to go to N.H. to do the racing school and get some track time in(Kawabuser interested?) I love my Black/grey Busa!I wouldn`t trade it for any bike....even if they do make one faster!
Also a couple good books out there you guys might wanna read is the "Twist of the wrist" series and "Soft Science" .I learned alot from these books and I`m always looking for more.
