I love the look of those things, but the price is a little steep for me.

They should have holes in them and have some white plugs to go in the hole.

What you do is put the in the place of the ram air tubes and mark with the end of a paper clip, just a tiny scratch. Then you need to drill a whole (not sure what size bit I used)just match drill bit with hole in scoops

then just put scoop in place and pop plug into scoop and its done.

like everyone else has said there should be a hole in them put them in drill the hole get a plastic push pin that will fit not all that hard if you look at my scoop you can see a little white dot that is the push pin

Yes, you can see this plug in goodluck's and my pics, double click mine for large view. Hold scoop against inside screen and mark the nose through hole. Take scoop out and then drill hole.  If your scoops don't have holes, you'll have to make your own, just look at the pics to determine that. Also key is the appropriate size drill bit for the plug size, use the same bit for scoop and nose holes, maybe some test holes on something else?  These plugs hold snug and solid, not loose at all.  Good luck.

5/16's hole i believe.. carpenter send's the drill bit w/ the kit... the push pin's are a very tight fit too... guess it kinda guarantee's that they wont fall out.. I'm not sure of the gain's if any.. but the look is pretty killer...

I got these onmy busa and they only seem tome to work at higher speeds,to make a cool look I painted the scoops the color of the bike and now it looks nice,T o mount them I placed the scoops in the fairing, lined them up the way I wanted to and use a screw to make my mark on the scoop as to where I was going to drill my hole,(DRILL BIT AND PLUG IN PACKAGE)and paint and line up the scoops with the drilled hole and plug the scoops in and it`s a rap..

Hope this Helps

You can always use the little plastic push to lock pins like on the bodywork to secure them too.

You can buy black push pins. I used to have a ton of those.
