re-map with slipons

Picked up some Yoshimura slipons to try. Bike sounds better. I've noticed the idle speed now tends to increase sometimes up around 1500 rpm once warmed up good and sitting at a long red light.

Would a re-map be needed or help this? Just getting used to the bike but did not notice the idle fluctuating with the stock cans.

I had mine remapped when I got my Yoshi RS-3 slip ons, along with a BMC street filter and GI-Pro. Here's my dyno chart, you can see the untuned run and the remapped run. Its not NEEDED, it definitely helped clean up part throttle response, and picked up a few hp and tq.

When I had slip ons I just paid for the three dyno pulls ($40) to verify A/F ratio was not hurting the engine and left it at that. No need to spend big bucks for slip on custom map.

Thanks guys. I'm mostly interested in knowing for sure the engine will be fine...not necessarily looking for or needing more power (but ya can't have too much can ya?)LOL

I think my local Suzuki shop has a Yoshi tuning box so will probably have them hook it up and fine tune to be safe.
