Ready to drop engine?

I'm ready to drop the engine, bike is supported with a pitbull front stand, do i have enough clearance? thanks for help

You should have enough. You can always life the stand up on a pallet....front and back. that will give you more than enough room to drop it. You should have enough now though
 
Remove the front wheel and fender. It makes things a whole lot easier. Trust me...I know.:laugh:

Also, your chain is still on the sprocket. Take off the throttle bodies if you havn't already, then you can lay that assembly up near the triple tree and not worry about disconnecting throttle cables or banging the injectors against the frame.

If you plan on dropping it yourself, I would get/borrow an engine hoist to support the weight and lower it to the ground. That motor is quite awkward to manage by one's self. In other words...it's heavy. Then you can move it from under the frame.

Best thing to do is take it slow and easy.
 
Also, I'd put it on a rear stand, too. Doesn't look like it's on one in the pick. I will give you more clearance and stabilize everything.
