Ready to Junk the Stock Exhaust

I know, I'm sure this question gets asked ad nauseam, so apologize in advance. Newbie here, but not new to busas...have a '00 with 20K miles.

Recently, carried a stock exhaust system from somebody's garage to back of pickup truck. Must weigh 35 or 40 lbs!!!

I'm ready, but confused. So many aftermarkets out there, how does one choose?

I'm interested in a full single can system with PC. First priority besides weight loss is quality and fit and finish. I want to be able to bolt this on myself and not have to fiddle around with any mis-fits. Second is a relatively low exhaust note (noise) as my neighbors already think I'm over the top with the RC51.

I'm in your hands. Any/all ideas will be appreciated.

I got an Akrapovic Ti Evolution for $1235.  I attached a pic.

I think it sounds awesome without being too loud. And, I have heard yoshi, muzzy, and jardine, and I prefer the Akra.

As far as fit, I have heard of other manufacturer's pipes needing body panel mods to fit. The Akra fits like it was made by Suzuki!

Finally, it only weighs 12 lbs!!!

How did you come by the map for the PCIIIr? Did you download a preset map or did you have it dyno'd to make a map for your bike? You have just about convinced me that the Akro Ti is the way to go - quality, fit, weight & sound. Now to make it work with the bike.

i have the yoshi tri-oval titanium full sys. 4:2:1. I love the sound, you can hear it but its not LOUD. No probs with the fit, cost me $850.

preset came on CD and is downloadable. Haven't dynoed yet... Dunoo if I will, it ROCKS the way it is.

Welcome to the board. I'm running a set of Yosh RS3 race slipons and love the sound of them. I'm not sure about the complete systems but alot of guys are using Yosh.

I have been looking for a site I can here exhaust forever and now that I have found it the army blocked the site.  I suppose I will have to wait for the internet connection at home.  When does the madness stop.
