Rear Axle Question

Hi why did suzuki decide to do away with the rear axle castle nut and cotter pin.
Has anyone did this upgrade to the gen2

I've been running the stock axle nut on my turbo for 2 years drag racing...no issues. Note*I do a bolt check prior to every event. But it's never been loose. Cotter's are attractive though, just another sense of security for sure.

I guess Suzuki Saved a whole 10 cent by doing away with it.
