About a month ago the bolt that holds the rear caliper in place from rotating on the rear axil, either broke or came loose, then fell out. As soon as I touched the rear brake the caliper wrapped around the axil and locked up my rear brake. Friday night I heard from a fellow Haybusa owner that he got a letter in the mail about a problem with that nut and bolt. However I did not see the letter and my local Suzuki dealer has not heard about it. When this happened, it was NOT after getting a tire change or any work done on the bike. I was atleast 1000 miles into the rear tire. The bike is an early 1999 with close to 10,000 miles. It's a great bike, but I certainly do not want anyone else to have this happen to them.
