rear spools

Do any of you folks have rear spools on your busa? If so how do you like them and would you recomend the brand.I have been thinking about them but would like opions first. Thanks

I have them and don't remember what brand. Very handy for the lift.

I have seen them on Ebay but I am little scared about the quality for 20.00 shipped. I just am not sure if that is a good deal or a cheap set

On the Busa I have the Suzuki brand from the dealer about $25. When I bought my GSXR they had some universal spools at the dealer for $15. They are actually better looking than the Suzukis and the strength specs are the same. The parts man recommended them over the Suzukis. I didn't keep the packaging so I don't remember the name brand.

It is not the spool that would fail, it is the bolt that holds it on I would think and that is even pretty unlikely.

Check out the t-rex post about the gb on the stands. I have those, along with the stands. Good quality stuff

i found my spools with matching sliders and bar ends.

bought mine from GMbusa here on the board...don't remember the brand but they have worked very well...just send him a pm, i'm sure he will hook you up

Vortex makes good ones. Can't remember what I paid but it wasn't much.

I bought mine off of ebay and have no problems with them. As others have said the strongest point needs to be the bolts.
