What is the biggest size rear sprocket I can go with and not have it rub the chain guard? I'm not wanting to change the front, only the rear.

44 you can run spacers if you go real big. Can I ask why you want to gear it so low?

You might have to mess with the chain with 44 rear. A 43 will work with the stock chain and give a good balance between mileage and acceleration. RPM's are not out of hand at freeway speeds either.

+1... I loved the 43t rear on Train. Perfect gearing for my style of riding.

i just finished putting a 42 on mine. i left the front at a 17. this should be a good all around gear for around town, the track, and freeway.

I'm wanting the best gearing for drag racing but I still want to be able to ride it on the street too.
