Rear subframe mod

I know the GSXR1000 rear end has been used on the Busa, But has anyone fitted another make/type of rear end.

ive seen plenty of those long drag race subframes with that whale big tail. if your have a low exhaust and don’t mind removing the rear pegs it’s probably not hard to swap any rear tail on. obviously not a bolt on but if car bodies can be swapped to different car frames, a tail section of plastic isn’t out of the question.

Some people have swapped Zx14r tails on busa and I know someone that has done a s1000rr tail on a busa. Anything is possible it’s just how handy are you and what are willing to spend.

Always wanted to see an MV Augusta F4 tail and Exhaust grafted on a Busa. Just my thing I guess.

Boring old GSXR tail on mine…


The Z900 / Z650, Ducati 916, RGV250 and K6 tails are all classics that are often used on different bikes. Proven formula.
