Rear Tire Fitment

Ok, I am looking to use a 260 in the rear. However, I obviously think I need some sort of wide tire kit. I don't need a fancy one with chrome plating or anything. I just need a rear swingarm that fits a 260. Where can I get one and about how much would it cost? (Or can i just modify a stock one?)

Ok I think you mean one of these sizes 240/300/360. Each will require an aftermarket swingarm. Since this is your first post lets ask a few questions?

Do you ride now?
DO you own a busa? If yes PICS please
Are you aware the wider the rear the worse the handling?

From what i have seen a 200 will fit on a stock swingarm but might rub on some chains.. if you want a big tire there are tons of companies just look around or in Superbike or TWO magazine.

Oh and welcome to the board

lol...thx. Actually, I don't own one. I am however running a project where I woudl rather use a busa rear end. A 200 is nice but I need at least a 240 / 260.

If you mount it on the stock wheel it will actually have a smaller contact patch than the 190 and a 180 on the same wheel will give you a little larger patch.

Great Info...Didnt know that

frook..that is extended but not wider across. max on that is probably 200 like stock. C&S was mentioned and they have amazing stuff if your looking for that.

this is a swingarm for a 240 rear, they just get wider from here.
