Reflectors on 04 Busa- Please help!

Hey, everyone I just got my 04 black/purple Busa and I was wondering what the deal with the back reflectors is? The bracket that holds it under the tail is held on by 2 Phillips head screws and I was turning and turning them, and they are loose, but they won’t come out. Don't tell me there is some kind of nut holding them on and that I will have to take apart the tail section. Please help, as they look like a$$ and must be removed!

there is a nut on the inside of the tail.
#1 either take the tail section apart to find them or
#2 hold pressure down on the reflector while turning them and they should come loose. if not revert to #1

fstbusa- thats what I figured. I tried to hold pressure on the bracket and turn, it was a no-go. Maybe I need more. I really dont want to take the tail apart-yet.
One good thing, I got my tank sticker off in about 10 seconds. I used a 3M stripe-off wheel that is made out off soft rubber and takes stickers right off! I got the tip from a body guy when I was taking pinstripes off my truck.

Stick a screwdriver behind the bracket and pry out on it while turning the screws...should do it, and the nuts will find their way out by themselves.

tbone; thanks for the info, but I took the tail apart, and it took a whole 15 minutes. It was not difficult at all. Now, no more reflectors.

Where do you get the 3M wheel? Can a novice use this safely or does it require an expert?
