remington 700

Heres my new toy. Remington 700 .30 06 springfield. left handed bolt action. Their selection for left handers was limited. The guy at the gunshop kept asking me if i wanted a semiauto, which i didnt. I just got it this evening and I can't wait 2 fire it. I will put a leupold scope on it saturday and go to a local outdoor range with my lil bro and a few friends sunday.

700 action is duplicated all the time. Reason is its awesome. Surgeon rifles makes a better one but the king is badger.

I had a 700 BDL left hand 30 06 years ago. Fine rifles but I'm a wimp I guess. The kick caused me to make bad shots so I went to a 243. Started making neck shots on deer and didn't have to track them. Remington makes good stuff.

There is a reason Carlos Hathcock used that gun. Because it is a near perfect gun using a near perfect round. If you think It is accurate now glass and bed the action and float the barrel. The float the barrel part may not be nessisary with a sinth stock though, they were just comeing on as I Quit doing any gunsmithing.

I have two Remington M700's and I love them both...you can find better rifles, but you will pay a lot more.
