Remote oil filter

Anyone know what thread size the stock oilfilter is? Going to use a remote filter mount and sorta need to know.

Are you making some sort of kit...or does someone make a kit for this

Where would you mount the filter...what about restricting the flow of oil

Oh, well i'm putting a kit together, its not that hard. There are a lot of companies out there that make remote adapters in all sorts of sizes. I have a tiger tail, and the filter will either be under there or under the hump, not sure yet. Haven't thought much about the restriction this would cause...people do this on cars so...?

If you mount it in the tail section, be careful and do your home work. Too large of a diameter line and you won't have enough oil pressure...too small and you might starve the bearings

You might need to upgrade the oil pump.
