remote start

Yes. A guy in Davenport has an 03 with remote start and remote air ride suspention. Its a show Busa, but due to a huge shot of NOS, a very fast one. Ill try to get some pics.

I saw a show bike on Two Wheel Tuesday a while ago that had remote start and remote air and it was on several Busa's.

Just out of curiousity why would ya want that?

I LIVE IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN. AND THERE IS A GUY HERE FROM CALI. HE HAS A 330MM TIRE KIT WITH SINGLE SIDE SWING ARM , AIR RIDE REMOTE REMOTE START. AND ALMOST EVERYTHING ON HIS BIKE IS CHROME NO POLISH. EVEN THE INNER PEICES ARE ALL CHROME. OVER 25000 INVESTED HE SAID, BUT ITS A BEAUT.

...yup i have seen it on a couple of smaller bikes here in India!! But really didnt find any use for em

Seems like it would be a bad idea. Say you start it remotely and it's in gear, dumping the bike on some little kid? The liability sounds almost painful. Oh, you trust the electonic intercession switches like you trust the little green neutral light?

It's not like you have to start it up to get the A/C or the heater going and frankly, most motorcycles warm up pretty fast.

Not for me.

What he said. It would be more useful as a novelty than anything. I just see it as dead weight on a bike.

Yes, I had an alarm system I bought from Tricktape back in '03 for my new Yamaha R6. Being the overly paranoid freak with a new bike that I was.....

It came with a remote start feature that was cool to fuk with people at parties when they were all standing around my bike, I would start it and someone would always jump....funny stuff.

Was it necessary ?? Not at all, but it was fun to freak people out with it. Won't work with Suzuki's because they have the clutch safety to start the bike.

My worst fear would be when i wasnt looking somone set on it and bumped the lever down to first. my second fear would be parking it in Neutral
