Removing coating on wheels.

I am finally getting off my ares and putting my Bandit back together.
Bought some paint remover and applied it to the wheels I bought, so I can polish the lips of the rims.
Front wheel about 80% of the paint came off. Rear wheel, most of the paint on one side came off. the other side of the rear wheel looks like it was rubbed with sand paper.

Went to an automotive paint store. Bought aircraft grade paint remover. The waiting begins.

if u lightly scuff the paint before u apply the stripper it will help soak in more. its not a fun process

Thought of this after applying the stripper.

Go the paint off and the wheels are at the shop waiting for tires.
