Removing Funnels

Anyone know what bit or tool will unscrew the funnels from the air box on the Gen 3 Busa? I’m trying to change my spark plugs. Its does not look like an Allen hex or Phillips screw. I thought it was a Torx but it’s something else. I may be wrong.

Correct… I don’t think I’ve ever seen a torx headed bolt or screw on any Japanese bike ever.
On the other hand, Germans love putting millions of them on there BMWs, all the body panels are held by scores of them, all differing in length too, just to make it even harder to refit all the plastics. . . grrrr.

Lol, that's coz you're Canadian, same for me, I've always called them by the CORRECT term . . as for US born n raised, they just call them whatever they look like to them . . .

Hang on a sec, that may very well be a security torx, I can see it now.

Please do not give Suzuki any stupid ideas. Only a handful of us morons have security Torx kits. That's because American motors and GM have been doing it for years.

Suzuki used security bolts on the ignition of Gen2, so they already have had the stupid idea!

Can't find the exact bit , but it's a very low torque setting on it
