Removing shifter arm...

Greetings,

Have some Ti Force rear sets on the way and was going over "what to do" thoughts.

On the left how does one remove the gear shift rod with the rubber boots? Everything else looks straight forward.

On the right side is a different story. Looks pretty tight in there to remove snap ring and cotter key. Can this be unbolted from the frame first to allow more room to work?

Hogger, just mark the orientation of the shifter rod clamp on the bike and remove it. The just swap rods and bolt everything back up. You should be fine. I hope I answered your... ? Let me know.
 
oh! I see..the ball ends do not come off. Just the rod..

geesih..sometimes it's the easy stuff that stumps you..

ok grab..project complete. Had to struggle a little on the brake side (spring) but all done.
