Removing stickers for 2005 le

Take it for a ride, warms the frame up. Then use a hair dryer and some WD40. Piece of cake.

I only did the warning stickers. Might do suzuki front and back. The following works great for tank sticker. The other warning stickers get a corner then pull slow, More sticky stuff comes off when you go slower.

Easy tank warning sticker removal.

1. Peel the clear cover off the sticker. comes off in one piece
2. Nail polish remover, I used one with no Acetone.
Acetone may affect the clear coat, I do not recomend it
for you or your baby. It also may attack the plastic. Use a
towel for any run off.
3. Soak something that will cover the sticker with the nail
polish remover and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Longer
may be better, but do so at your own risk. I used make-up
pads.
4. Peel up the sticker. Mine came off in just a few pieces.
5. Rub pads back over the left over glue till majority is gone
6. Place soaked pads back on the last tacky glue, let sit for 2
min and rub off remaining glue.
7. Clean nail polish remover from tank and then I waxed area
just in case.

Good luck and post the finished pics. I cant get enough of these BUSA's

Just be patient with the one on the tank, a hair dryer and your finger nail and patients will work

take it from a moron..... if you come across the post where someone says use paint thinner..... are you laughing yet or crying? Well don't let it sit on the plastic.

I was able to take the stickers off just with a hair dryer. I took off the warning stickers and the "Suzuki" off the front & back. Run the hair dryer over the stickers and "warm-them-up". Get a finger nail under one corner and SLOWLY start to peel. As the sticker comes up blow hot air under the sticker. Came up in one piece, very little glue left. Remove glue with "Goo-be-gone". Easy!

i used a hair dryer , then used a old credit card to scrape it off slowly , then used goo be gone to get rid of extra glue... perfect and easy.

Used a fingernail on the tank warning sticker. After 15 (patient) minutes, switched to duct tape to remove the remnants, and then finished with a good wax. I don't trust anything on the paint except wax.
