Removing Tail Section

Hey guys. I frequently visit this site for great info and I was wondering if someone could help me with a mod. I just started modifying my busa and I'm trying to install the smoked tail light kit. Do I have to remove the frankenstein bolts in order to remove the tail section? I have removed every visible bolt and those little black plugs.

Any help would be appreciated!!

there are also screws under seat.

the clear alternatives taillight lens just requires you to remove the 2 screws and then pry the lens free, there is a tab on the under side of the reflector....that's if you have a gen 1 anyway...no need to remove the tail at all unless the whole assembly is getting changed

Does anyonne know if clear alternatives has released the smoked rear turn signals or when they plan on releasing???

Thanks for the info. I was able to remove the tail and installed the smoked lenses. Looks awesome! Can't wait until this stupid snow and ice melt.
