I'm using the Maxum semi-synthetic 15W50 in my Busa and their 10W40 in my son's R6. Both bikes seem to work okay with it and they both shift easier since the change. When I change mine next, I plan to go with 10W40 in it, too.

I am using repsol 4T racing. It seems to work pretty good. Put I havent put alot of miles on it yet. Time will tell.

The Maxima Maxum 4 and their Ultra 5w-40 is the cats meow .

It's no doubt one of the worlds best bike oils .

I have seen an analysis of the Repsol and was not impressed and I'm not certain but I believe it to be just group III base oil as the primary make-up .

Just one man's opinion there in a world of other choices .

Well 5-7 top tier oils seem to stand above the rest in my view .

Yeah, I just ordered some of the Maxima Maxum from Schnitz Racing. Price isn't too bad either. I have been using the Mobil1 MX4T, and it performed pretty good. Wanna see how others perform.

Just an update - I tried the Maxum 10w40 at the next oil change as I said I would, but went back to 15w50. The transmission just seems to shift better and more quietly with the heavier oil. My son tried it in his R6 at the last change as well and likes it better than the 10w40, too.

Repsol oil does not look that good. Looks to be a low in ZDDP and Ca is very low. I will have to look up TBN and see if it has ash.

Maxima looks ok but some of there oils have a low flash point, VI looks low on some and do not know there HTHS #'2. ZDDP is up there Zn and P are up there and TBN of 12.
