Here's what I've found so far;
EBC superbike $378
EBC pro-lite $378
Ferodo $500
Braking $520
Brake Tech $522
Galfer $560
ABM $600
Alth $710
Galfer superbike $845
Brembo $1100

Right now I'm leaning towards one of the EBCs since they're soo much cheaper. None of them list weight

They'd probably lie about it anyway...

I'm looking for performance not looks. But price matters.

Anyone know of any others??
Any recommendations??
Any "don't buy that those" ??

Thanks guys

I just installed my Galfers today, havn't had a chance to ride it yet. Went with Galfer HH's on the front, and semi met. on the rear, thats what they recommend.

I should also mention that while price matters, I don't want to cheap out either.  I put a lot of heat into my brakes at trackdays. I'm also looking for rotors lighter than OEM rotors, anybody know for sure which brands are definitely lighter than stock but still perform better than stock?

Good job staring this thread. I have the same questions.

cheers

I'd be intrested in the replies also. I was thinking about starting some track days this year. I was leaning towards the galfers, because they're mid priced and I haven't heard too much negative feedback.

I think it would also help to find out more details and the dimensions , such as full floating, thickness, diameter, any specific pad recommendations for specific rotors, and if any are not track recommended (may warp/crack under very high continued stress).

I've only had stock and AP's but my AP's are oversized so I can't really comapre them vs. OE.

I cant help you on the weight.....Galfers on mine. Even with all the braking improvements...they still are a nice shade of blue, lol.

ALTH rotors on sale in Oncycles clearance. Got my ABM's from Streetntrack.

I lika ABM, Galfer and the Alth rotors.

I was told Galfer lighter by a ABM by a dealer in Germany. Direct quote "the galfer are a bit lighter...but thats just a little!
Then ABM, followed by EBC. Alth are near stock weight.

No more for me! But are the waves as smooth at slow stops as OEM Sunstar's. Those china was so much better with lever application but were a bit lungie for the last ten feet of the stop. There on some one elses bike now!
