Ridden a turbo-busa lately?

I'm seriously considering a MR. TURBO kit to skip the R&D and get some kick *** riding in. I have never talked to anyone that has one installed or ridden one. I dont want 300 hp something more like 225-250. Do they actually run as clean and smooth as a stocker like they say in the Motorcycle Performance article; the dyno looks nice and only takes off after about 5-6k. I would like to hear any riding impressions or experiences ( with mr. turbo or any others,B.A.D., sims&rohm). thanks!!

Havent ridden the turbusa yet. I have although ridden three different Turboes from McXpress ( one GSXR750 one ZX7R one CBR900RR) And they all behaved extremely well. I could not belive it.
I am up for riding the Turbobusa of McXpress as soon as the snow melts ( in a month or so )
I will post pictuires and riding impression on LABUSAS when I have done so :)

MOTORHEAD d you know if the MR.TURBO has the pop off valve. I tried calling them today after work and no answer, maybe tomorrow. I also started pricing brakes to handle extra uuummmfff. They'er not cheap either the best so far is 1700 for the PFM. Brembo topshelf is about 2500 with master. I think a turbo is definitely in my future.

There is a great article in Motorcycle Performance, Volume 24, Issue 2, about installation of a Mr. Turbo. Got it at the newsstand this weekend. If you need a copy let me know and I'll xerox and send it. If I had $4k and could get away with it without my wife beating me like a rag doll I'd buy one.

Good point Motorhead, the turbo will last much longer AND it will spool up faster (without the pop-off valve the turbo will slow down dramatically when the throttle is snapped SHUT)...also help protect against overboost spikes.

The new Turboes That mcXpress uses have build in pop off valves.
Dont worry MOTORHEAD, I will try it as soon as I can, but the idea of riding a 320 hp turbo in the snow isnt what I am looking forward to.
Riding it when the pavement is dry is another story...yummmmi.
Its going to be a nasty job but someone got to do it. :)
