Ride for Don

Would anyone be interested in going for an honorary ride for Don this weekend in the Southeast Virginia area? I never had the pleasure of meeting Don, but am deeply moved by the loss of such an admired Org member. I know that people that are unable to attend are trying to ride in is honor and post pics for him on the site. Let me know if anyone is interested.

We have our usual Sunday morning group of about 10-15 bikes here in the Raleigh area. Good group of riders & more then a few knew Don/
Hmmm....could see if they'd be up for a road trip in that direction. Doing it in such a short time frame may be difficult though.

Let me see what I can do. Either way....I'm up for the ride Mani. Where in SE VA & what did you have in mind?

By the way....we are also doing a commerative ride at the Bash if you plan on attending.

It looks like Sunday weather is crappy. Saturday is supposed to be decent weather. I live in Chesapeake VA. Emporia is about an hour ride for me, which is no problem. Dino and Busapebbles aren't available for Saturday though, I don't think. He made mention of wanting to go on Sunday. I am a definate yes for Saturday. I don't know if my work schedule will permit a Sunday ride though.

My Kitchen pass for the Bash got revoked. I am hoping that there is a Spring Bash, cause I will definately not miss that one, even if I have to sleep on the couch (Which means I would go sleep in the garage next to "Angel")

Very true. I am still VERY new to the site and have only met Dino in person. I am excited about meeting so many people. With Eureka and the Bash so close, it's hard to plan a ride for Don. From what I have been reading though, EVERY ride, everywhere, everytime will not happen without Don in everyones mind. I look forward to meeting more people from the oRg in person. I will make one of the big events, if I have to sell donuts to do it!!!
