i just have a question for all of you that tour.   im planning a ride to just north of atl from here in st.pete and wondered have you guys done any riding to about the same amount of miles and how long did it take you?   im also wonderin how many times did you guys have to stop and fill up?  just tryin to plan a trip to go see my mom which i havnt seen in 18 years and tryin to find out how much money i should bring with me?   thanks for all your help

How many miles is the trip, st. pete to where??? What are your dates you are planning to travel? I'm just N. of Atl and try to hit the N. GA. mountains as much as possible when I am not working. As far was what to pack, money (credit card), licsense, some clothes, asprin, and a tire plug kit. Maybe something to clean the windscreen on you helmet.

its auburn ga and its about 520 miles from here mapquest said about 8 hrs trip. im planning it for the last weekend in sept or the 1st weekend in oct.
