Riding Apparel for cold Canadian

I once saw a piece of riding gear that looked like a neck brace. I think its supposed to keep the wind that might blow over the jacket and below the helmet in really cold weather. Well I am in Canada and it still gets quite cold when it rains so if you know what its called and where I can get one, please help.

Thanks in advance.

Ah hell, when it's chilly I just wear my Polartec balaclava that I use snowmobiling...

Fits in the helmet nice and keeps you exposed skin toasty and warm, even at highway speeds... I have out with it when it was -14c (with a windchill) and I was driving 140kph...

Look in catalogs for white water rafters and kayakers.

Some amazing stuff that resembles a balaclava with a bib, maybe worth the cost to you up there.

You have to care a lot about motorcycles to ride up here. I can't imagine what it's like for Sagge and Yngve, who live in Scandanavia.

They are crazy MTHRFKRS.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I've done pretty well with a Marmot ski vest. It has a turtle-neck height collar that zips shut and is made of a fabric that breaks the wind pretty well. It's light and thin and I wear it under my leather jacket. I wore it all last winter (expect January which was the only month I didn't ride). It worked for me in temperatures just above freezing at near legal speeds. I also wear ski gloves if its below 6 or 7 C. I've found ski shops mix warmth and flexibility much better than bike or snow mobile shops.
