Riding Gear for Tall Guys?

I have been searching for Jackets and Suits that fit me 6'-7". Sort of the Michael Jordan size if you will.

Just picked up a new Blue 2008 Hayabusa last week and I need to pick up some gear.

Any suggestions, links etc would be great.

I like in San Diego, but the Internet will get there as well

I'm 6'1" with a 42" waist (yeh, I'm fat, I know...

) I ordered the Joe Rocket Blaster Pants with a 44" waist thinking they would run small. The pants were true to size and were two inches too big and I had to take the to a leather tailor to remove 3 1/2" from the bottom to fit my 32 1/2" inseam. God only know how long the inseam is on the waist size 48".
The pic is from a Canadian catolog but I'm sure they would be avaiable in the USA.

They make a sonic Jacket and in comes in a 5xl and a 3xl tall.

If I were you, I'd spend a few extra bucks and have a suit made to fit. There are a number of companies that make custom suits. You will end up with a suit that fits like a glove. With your special size, I doubt you will find anything that fits you well?  

Syed Leathers would be a good place to start. Vanson also makes custom leathers. Do a google search for custom leathers, I'm sure you'll come up with a number of options.

I am 6'4" and have a very hard time finding anything off the shelf long enough. Jackets aren't so tough to find but long inseam pants are a different story. I found dainese P103 pants (Which have been discontinued by the way) was the only pants I've found that fit well.

I also have a Taichi one piece suit I use for the track that fits like a glove and I love it. However, I had to have it lengthened two inches in the crotch.

Try some stuff on at local dealers then go internet.
New Enough has a great return policy and good prices, but it pays to have an idea before clicking!

I'm 6'2" and 230lbs with a 33" waist and 34" inseam, 50" chest and fairly long arms. I get my leathers made for me. Nobody has my size either. Last set came from a shop over in Cali. But I can't remember the name. And they were not cost prohibitive either. Like 650.00 shipped to me, my choice of colors, 1.7mm cowhide. Shop around, it took me about 3 mo if I remember right to find a good deal like that.

I'm 6'8". New Enough is a great place to look. I found pants my size by Joe Rocket. I got as mesh pair that wasn't in tall and it fit better than the ballistic pair that I did get in tall. I like them both though. As far as a jacket, I haven't found any that have sleeves as long as I need them. I have gorilla arms.

I'm 6'6" and I have an ICON leather jacket that fits me perfect. I went with the XXL because I have really long arms (I have a 7ft. wingspan). I went into a couple shops near me and tried on some jackets to see what fit then I ordered off of the internet to save some coin. Don't have any leather pants though so I can't help you there. I'm gonna need some by the time I get nitrous though because my track will require it with the time I'll be running.

Im 6'3" 292lbs with a 36" waist,I cant find anything to fit me right.I got a XXXL Komodo jacket,little snug in the chest area but the waist is too loose,I have a joe rocket xxxl jacket that just dont fit anywhere right,I just bought a mesh body armor shirt from six-six-two that im gonna wear under a XXXXL moto shirt,,,,motorcycling isnt big guy friendly!!!

Give First gear or Hein Gerick a look, they make lots of stuff in the tall sizes!
No more short sleeve jackets for this man when I stretch out... I feel your pain.

Hello all, i have a brand new joe rocket busa jacket orange/black in size 3x. I am looking for a trade for the same jacket in size 4x. Anyone willing please let me know. No bull**** i just want an honest person willing to do a trade for sizes.. Brand new still in plastic. Well, Im 6'8 270ish with a 7'2 wingspan, and I have a very hard time finding ridding gear. But I just thought I would throw this out there That newenough is literally 10 minutes from the house. So im constantly in there trying on stuff. If you have any questions about stuff let me know and I could try something out and let you know about it. also, if your looking for a full set of leathers, I know of a web site that will custom make them for a pretty cheap price... just let me know and I could send you the web site.

I feel your pain. I'm about 6'7" and have yet to be able to find some leather pants that fight right. I have a pair of Fieldsheer Adventure pants that fit very well. Fieldsheer has tall sizes that seem to give you that extra length needed. I also bought a pair of Sliders jeans for riding. I have been looking at Pilot Leathers since they are on the less expensive side of custome leathers.

I whish I was closer to NewEnough, I'm sure I would have better luck shopping there in person.
