riding position?

town work and racing on the tank
High speed and cruising back a bit more till comfortable

Just be comfortable. ITs all a personal thing!

Nuts ;)

Kinda depends on how big you are too.
I have pretty bad carpal tunnel due to computer geek by trade and am 6' 165, I sit up against the tank all the time, seems easier for me to get up kinda above the bars so the paws don't go numb(haha I said Numb) as fast. Probably need to go ahead and get genmar risers.

Depends, on the tank for in town riding, or twisty stuff cause it is easier to hang off. Move it back for highway cruising so I can lay down and get under that tiny wind screen.

On the tank when I'm serious.Off it when I'm not.More weight closer to the steering the more control of the steering you have.Sit back=light front wheel(Less respone).Sit forward=heavy front wheel(more response).
B21 :)

lately i've been riding a little back on the seat about 3 oinches off the gas tank, and ive found this to be a better position for me. I have gone to 2 diff schools on riding and they have both said to sit on against the tank. How do you sit?

I move around a lot. I sit up against the tank in low speed twisties. I scoot back a bit and put my head down on high speed sweepers. Anything over about 185-190 I put my chin on the tank and my butt against the hump.
