Here are a few pics that we took today of the town that I live in. I feel so bad for all the loss of everyone. These pics really do not do it justice. Until you see it first hand, you really cant grasp the destruction. :(

It was about 2 ridges over from us, we were very lucky. The last oic above this post is my cousins house, or what is left of it. Went over today to help recover what was not destroyed and to try to find pictures. :(

wow sorry to hear about your cousin's house but glad to hear that everyone is OK

wow, brings back some bad memories of time spent in New Orleans right after Katrina to help with the clean-up...pictures truly do not portray the feeling of being surrounded by absolute devastation...prayers sent for everyone affected by this latest disaster

This is Cherokee Valley Road that these pics of of. This is the same tornado that went close to TwoBrothersBusa's house that ChattanoogaBusa posted pics of.

Looking at these and other pictures, I'm reminded of the string of hurricanes that came through South Florida in '04 & '05. A big difference between the hurricanes and these tornadoes, we were given advance notice of the track and to batten down, leave, whatever.....these storms gave little or no notice. The power of this stuff is mind boggling. The posts and trees snapped show the force. My heart goes out for the people suffering losses.

I have never seen so much devistation. Seen a house trailer, well the bottom metal floor and the wheels, twisted up about 25 feet in wraped around a tree. Pray for these folks.

So sorry to hear that, Bro....

anything we can do to help your cousin out??

Wow Tim, I will be praying for these folks. You just dont understand it unless you work the aftermath. Unfortunately the only reason I get to "travel" for my job is to work after things like this happen. God bless brother.

Tim, your right it is hard to grasp unless you see something like this first hand and even then it can still be hard to understand.

Prayers out to all those folks.
